WHEN DOES THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL START?

Knowledge Day is celebrated on September, 1. This day marks the end of summer holidays and the beginning of autumn and the school year. In cities, towns and villages all over the country, well-dressed learners arrive at school with flowers and with smiles on their faces. The celebration begins when children stand in line and are welcomed by their school staff. Some children read poetry, some perform songs, some dance, then the "First bell" rings for the new comers.
